Like Skida, Andi are extremely curious about humans and the mortal realm.  They were in awe when humans first came into the Runelands.  When they saw how the Vindr could be manipulated by Speakers, they instantly idolized them and started dressing up like humans and carrying around sticks.  The sticks offer absolutely no benefit to manipulating Vindr (just don’t tell an Andi that).
